Tha Lane village is a small fishing village. We will pass through the Crocodile Cave, small and large canals, and paddle around the limestone cliffs while enjoying views of stalactites and stalagmites.
The highlight of Ao Tha Lane is the Canyon, a 400 m saltwater river trail with tall, vegetated mountains—spectacular.
During the trip we can see different animal species, such as macaques, kingfisher birds, crabs, fishes, and mudfish. We will learn about the CHAO LAY community, also known as Sea Gypsies, who lived in the Tha Lane area many years ago.
To this day there is evidence of how they lived and their cultural traditions. There are two ancient cemeteries we can see during the kayaking trip in Ao Tha Lane.
The area of Tha Lane has a long history, and proof of this is the ancient colored paintings that can be seen on the walls of its limestone mountains. During the tour, as long as the sea level permits, we will see them.
Tour includes: Free pick-up from a hotel in Ao Nang or Klong Muang area, bottled drinking water, and fresh fruit.
